Texture patterns

"Texture pattern" has had three moments so far, a first release of 43 works on Fxhash, a special edition of 24 on objkt and since last month "Texture pattern II" is available on Fxhash, 77/128 minted.

Texture pattern I

"Texture pattern" was published on February 2022 and is an experiment about achieving colours with small lines forming a texture that you can alter. The piece is based on a grid system that is altered by a factor and in orientation, 3 mathematical sequences create a base rhythm.

The colour palette is inspired by Riley's "La fête" with modifications and the monochrome version is based on 2 blacks and 2 whites.

It changes the canvas and adopts a horizontal format following the logic of the initial algorithm, there are 20 pieces published at objkt.com.

Texture pattern II

Texture #pattern II was published on April 21, 2022. It is a counter-intuitive visual experiment, it is about creating difference through repetition. One parameter changes in the repetition of fixed sequence in a grid within a grid, this bit of interference creates new patterns by repetition with different visual results.

The piece allows simple interaction, you can click/touch and the colours change within the logic of the algorithm, while maintaining the uniqueness of each token, almost endless variations within each piece are posible. You can also add or subtract additional lines or noise to alter its texture.
